Ida’s Ideas fashion & design training institute’s vision is to create a premier fashion academy that will transform the face of fashion education, primarily through career focused creative education. We are committed to excellence, innovation, creativity, customer satisfaction for women and youths skill development and employment.
Programs We Offer
Being Premiers fashion institute in the Gambia and having only two years experiences so far, the programs we offer are as follows: Integrated Certificate Level in Fashion Design Garment Making-One Year. Integrated Diploma Program in Fashion Design & Garment Making-One Year. Entrepreneurship and business plan development. Garment making/Sewing certificate and diploma Six Months Part-Time Certificate Training in Sewing/Tailoring.
Medium of Training
All classes are held in English. Classes are also held in medium groups, thus allowing massive of teacher-student interaction. This provides the opportunity for frequent one-to-one explanation whenever the need arises and serves as a significant tool contributing to the excellent academic results our students are able to achieve.
Our Payment Plan
The Institution has a flexible tuition payment scheme that allows students to pay their payments without much difficulties or interruptions. Ida’s Ideas encourages students to pay their tuition fee on a termly basis. This means, students are required to make payment for each term before training starts. Please kindly note: that there are three terms/semesters in each training program and the duration for each term/semester comprises of three and half month with the exception of Entrepreneurship Programs and Part-Time. Moreover, the institution does not have An Inclusive Payment plan in place, in the sense where training materials are included in the total payment. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each student to ensure buying their own materials to cater for the entire training.

The two-Year Fashion Design and Garment Construction Certificate & Diploma Program is the excellent solution for all students that would like to improve their passion for design and exploring various courses in fashion field. These courses include, Fashion Design Development & Creativity, Fashion Illustration, Garment Making, Fashion Entrepreneurship, and Modern Entrepreneurship program as a separate entity, Advance Fashion Illustrations, Computer Aided Design and Pattern Drafting Skills. The aim of this intensive Design Training is to expose the students to the practice of being a designer. It will help them develop their creative expression, the ideas, add meaning and context to their designs and also to identify where their design skills best lie. This will equally enable the students not to be Copycat as they will be equipped with excellent creative mind and expression.
